Daycares
Laplace0-5.com website is the one-stop access point for parents looking for spaces in subsidized or unsubsidized facilities-based and home-based daycares that are recognized by the province of Quebec. All childcare centres, subsidized daycare centres, non-subsidized daycare centres and home childcare providers are now required to join La Place 0-5.

Driver’s license and registration
Holders of a foreign licence are allowed to drive on Québec roads for 6 consecutive months. If they take up residence in Québec, they must obtain a Québec licence, which they may apply for a Québec licence as soon as they arrive in Québec.

Info-Santé 811 is a free and confidential telephone consultation service that puts you in contact with a nurse in case of a non-urgent health issue. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Anyone living in Québec can call Info-Santé 811 for themselves or a family member.
