Call for interested: Independent member of the Board of Directors of the CIUSSS du Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean

CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS FOR CIUSSS-SLSJ

The Minister of Health and Social Services must appoint an independent member for each board of directors of an integrated health and social services centre (CISSS) or a university health and social services centre (CIUSSS) from a list of names provided by the Regional Committee for Access to Health services and social services in the English language.

To this end, the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean is seeking applications to fill an independent member position on the Board of Directors for one of the following competency, expertise or experience profiles:

Competence in governance or ethics

Competence in risk management, finance and accounting

Competence in real estate, informational or human resources

Competence in verification, performance or quality management

NOTE: These meetings will be held in French so a good understanding of the French language is important.

Interested persons must send their application form no later than September 23, 2022 to the following email address: 02ciusss.ca.slsj@ssss.gouv.qc.ca.

These applications will be the subject of an analysis and recommendation by the Regional Committee for Access to Health and Social Services Programs in the English Language. Successful applications will be forwarded to the Ministry in order to fill one of the 4 profiles mentioned above.

The requirements to be an independent member can be found in the application form. A person qualifies as an independent member if, among other things, he does not have, directly or indirectly, relationships or interests, in particular of a financial, commercial, professional or philanthropic nature, likely to affect the quality of his decisions having regard to the interests of the institution.
