ECO-02 is very excited to announce that we have partnered with McGill Training and Retention of Health Professional Program to offer a new bursary to Secondary 5 students graduating in Spring 2022 and postsecondary students. The Health and Social Services Community Leadership Bursary is designed to help Quebecois students undertake post-secondary education in programs related to health and social services. The goal of this bursary is to encourage young Quebecois health professionals to develop their careers in the province of Quebec, either in the home region or elsewhere. To achieve this goal, Dialogue McGill are offering scholarships of up to 10,000$.
Who is eligible you ask? Firstly, only students who have been accepted into or are returning to a fall 2022 programs and intend to work in Quebec qualify for this scholarship. This can be a program at a Cegep, vocational school, or university. The second main criteria is community engagement. This could be a wide variety of activities like volunteering, helping community elders, or even being part of an environmental club. Think creatively and critically about your involvement. The rest of the eligibility criteria are listed and explained in the Bursary Student Application Guide document attached below. That document also describes the amounts associated with different programs. Also attached below are all the necessary forms for the completion of the application
